When to have QHHT

A Guide on When To Have Your Session

When to have QHHT. By Nadia Gledhill, certified QHHT practitioner, Melbourne

When Is the Right Time to Have QHHT?

Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) is a method of hypnosis and past life regression developed by Dolores Cannon. It’s a tool to explore your subconscious and connect with your Higher Self to receive clarity and direction in your life.

When to have a QHHT session will be very different for each person because the process is very personal and introspective. Also, the session experience is controlled by your Higher Self, meaning you will always receive the information most relevant to you at your current stage of life.

In my experience as a QHHT practitioner, there are several common moments or life events that trigger someone to book a QHHT session. These range from periods of personal transition, when there are life questions they want answered, persistent recurring life patterns, to assist with their spiritual awakening, and more.

During a Period of Personal Transition

When to have QHHTQHHT during life transitions help to provide clarity, release emotional or energetic blocks, and discover and align with life purpose. I also find that it helps people make future life decisions aligned with heir purpose, and understand the motivations behind their previous choices.

Common life changes that QHHT can assist with include:

  • Career changes
  • Relationship breakups
  • Beginning of new relationships
  • Grief of personal loss
  • Retirement
  • Shift in spiritual or religious beliefs
  • Moving house

When You Feel Emotionally Ready

A QHHT session is most rewarding when you arrive feeling emotionally ready. That doesn’t mean you need to have everything figured out or be free of stress. It simply means you feel steady enough to sit with whatever comes up, without feeling overwhelmed.

Being grounded helps you stay calm and present, while being open allows you to receive the information from your Higher Self without pushing it away or judging it.

When you come in curious rather than expecting a specific outcome, you give yourself room to receive the information and answers you need at that particular moment of your life. Strong expectations, like needing to see a certain vision or get a particular answer, can create pressure and make it harder to relax.

Curiosity and a willingness to reflect work much better, because they invite you to listen gently to your own Higher Self and to make sense of your experience in your own time, even if it looks different from what you imagined.

When You Have a Clear Intention

Setting an intention gives your experience a sense of direction. An intention is not a demand or a fixed goal. It is a clear, simple focus and gives the practitioner and yourself something meaningful to explore.

Here are a few examples of how an intention might look:

  • Seeking clarity about a life decision: “I want to better understand what feels right for me as I think about changing careers.” This keeps your attention on what matters most to you, rather than on what others expect.
  • Exploring recurring emotional patterns: “I’d like to understand why I often feel anxious in close relationships.” This invites you to look at the pattern with curiosity instead of frustration.
  • Reflecting on a spiritual question: “I’m curious about my sense of purpose and how I can feel more connected to it.” This opens space for personal insight without needing a single, fixed answer.
  • Understanding personal fears or beliefs: “I want to explore where my fear of failure comes from and how it shapes my choices.” This helps you approach the fear gently and see it more clearly.

The best intentions are simple, honest, and open-ended. Phrasing them as “I want to understand” or “I’m curious about” tends to work better than “I need to fix” or “I must find out,” because it keeps the door open to whatever insight is ready to appear.

When You Have Questions You Want to Explore

I encourage my QHHT clients to prepare a list of questions to ask their Higher Self. Maybe you’re wondering about a recurring dream, a life direction, a relationship, or a feeling you can’t quite explain.

The act of writing out your questions gives you a chance to slow down, clarify your thoughts, and discover what really matters to you. As you do this, you may notice that some questions are really asking the same thing in different ways.

It’s best to focus on a few meaningful themes rather than creating a long list. A huge list can leave you feeling rushed or pressured to get through every item. Choosing six to ten questions that matter most to you allows each one to be explored with care. If you’re not sure which ones to keep, ask yourself which questions feel the most important or keep coming back to you. You can also group similar questions under one theme, such as relationships, health, or life purpose.

Finally, hold your questions lightly. They are there to guide you, not to demand specific answers. Most often the valuable insights come in ways you didn’t expect, and staying open to that makes the experience more beneficial.

Physical or Emotional Health Issues

Our physical health is often linked with emotional or spiritual issues. When conventional methods fall short, and you sense a mind-body connection to your health challenges, QHHT can serve as a complementary approach. Exploring past lives and addressing the root causes on a subconscious level may contribute to the healing process.

Curiosity About Past Lives

If you’ve always been fascinated by the concept of past lives, feeling an unexplainable connection to certain time periods or cultures, it could be a sign that you’re ready to discover that connection and how it impacts your current life. QHHT provides space to explore past lives, and provides you with an understanding of the lessons and energy carried forward.

Recurring Dreams and Visions

Dreams and visions are windows into the subconscious. If you find yourself experiencing recurrent dreams or vivid visions that seem significant, they may be messages from your Higher Self. QHHT can help decode the symbolism and meaning behind these experiences so you understand what they are communicating to you.

Relationship Changes

Relationships, whether romantic, family, professional, or friendship, play a significant role in our lives. If you’re having challenges in your relationships or find yourself in repetitive patterns, QHHT can uncover the underlying cause. Understanding the root causes on a subconscious level allows you to see the situation from a different perspective, and break any recurring pattern

Timing When to Have a QHHT Session

If you feel a pull toward QHHT, I encourage you to embrace the opportunity. Your subconscious mind has its own way of guiding you to the right experiences at the perfect moment. Trust in the process, and you may find that a QHHT session is what you need at this time in your life.
