As a Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) practitioner, I’m thrilled to guide you through the process of preparing for your session. Preparation plays a crucial role in maximising the benefits of your experience, setting the stage for deep healing and self-discovery.

There are five key ways I recommend to prepare for a QHHT session, empowering you to embark on your journey with confidence and openness.

Practicing Visualisation and Meditation

Visualisation and meditation are powerful tools to quiet the mind, relax the body, and tap into the depths of your subconscious. By incorporating these practices into your pre-session routine, you create an optimal environment for profound healing and insight. 

Why I recommend it: Visualisation and meditation help calm the conscious mind and promotes relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety. It also helps to train your conscious mind for the session.


  • Search YouTube for guided meditations.
  • Find one that appeals to you and practice daily in the lead up to your appointment.
  • Whilst listening to the mediation, simply imagine the pictures as you’re being guided.
  • Allow yourself to let go of any tension or worries, surrendering to the present moment and be immersed in the story.

Prepare Your Questions for Your Subconscious

Your subconscious holds profound wisdom and insight waiting to be revealed. By preparing thoughtful questions before your session, you can guide the exploration of your inner landscape and uncover answers to pressing concerns. Here’s why preparing your questions is crucial when preparing for a QHHT session, 

Why I recommend it: Actually, this step is one that is necessary rather than recommended. Preparing questions helps focus your intention and directs the session towards areas of your life that you wish to explore or receive guidance on. There are no questions off limits, so write them down and hand them to your practition at your QHHT session.


  • Reflect on aspects of your life where you seek clarity, healing, or understanding.
  • Write down open-ended questions that begin with “what,” “how,” or “why” to encourage deeper exploration.
  • Avoid asking yes or no questions, as they may limit the depth of the insights you receive.
  • Trust your intuition and let your questions arise from a place of curiosity and authenticity.

Avoid Caffeine and Alcohol Prior to Your Session

In the hours leading up to your QHHT session, I recommend avoiding substances that can interfere with your ability to relax and connect with your subconscious. Caffeine and alcohol, in particular, can disrupt your mental clarity and inhibit the depth of your experience. Abstaining from these substances will help you prepare for a QHHT session.

Why I recommend it: Caffeine and alcohol can stimulate the nervous system and hinder your ability to enter a relaxed state conducive to deep healing and introspection.


  • Avoid consuming caffeinated beverages such as coffee, tea, and soda at on the day of your session.
  • Refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment.
  • Opt for hydrating drinks like water or herbal tea to support your body’s natural detoxification process.
  • Trust that by abstaining from caffeine and alcohol, you create space for clarity and receptivity during your session.

Fuel Your Body, Fuel Your Soul

A QHHT session can run anywhere from 4 to 7 hours, maybe longer! Eating a nourishing meal will help maintain stable energy levels and prevents discomfort during your session.
